About the workshop

A free, fully virtual workshop held across two time zones in May 2026, gathering educators and professionals to develop shared learning goals for teaching Artificial Life. Day 1 — "Why teach ALife?" aligned on goals and outcomes through presentations, lightning talks, and group discussion. Day 2 — "How to teach ALife?" turned to practical pedagogy, with peer feedback on teaching artifacts and introductory tutorials from experienced educators.
